Our Students…
Liam is a thoughtful, gifted learner who has a penchant for thinking deeply and solving complex problems. He attends 5280 because he wants to be challenged academically and likes to tackle challenging problems that require him to think and “tinker.” He is pictured here with a Pre-K student from Greenlee Elementary and the book that Liam and his peers wrote, illustrated, and translated for this emerging English and Spanish speaker.
Sofia is a talented designer and artist, and enjoys the flexibility that project based learning gives her to be creative, meet individual academic goals, and pursue her passions. Sofia enjoys 5280’s access to technology, cutting-edge software, and exceptional teaching personnel who guide her in her academic and artistic pursuits.
Our students are consistently grateful for the drug free environment and a community of peers and adults that support their sobriety. Started in 2018, 5280 is already one of the largest recovery high schools in the country. 5280 is committed to providing exceptional college and career readiness while being an incredibly strong community for students in recovery.
