About YRWC

In 2024, 5280 High School hosted the first Youth Recovery & Wellness Convention as a way to mobilize the Denver Metro community around adolescent substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders. 5280 High School students facilitated workshops alongside local community partners to pass on best practices, resources, knowledge, and a variety of perspectives to their peers, families, school professionals, and recovery/treatment providers. The annual YRWC is intended to be an ongoing resource for youth and their wider caregiving community to learn about pertinent issues that impact youth in today’s world and drive the conversation toward compassionate and long-lasting change.

YRWC is for youth (12-20), parents, school professionals, and recovery/treatment providers for substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders in the Denver Metro.
